Guided fishing from my Jet-Powered, fully rigged and equipped Stealthcraft Drift Boat on the Kennebec during peak spring action, when Shad and early-season Stripers push into the river in good numbers.
We’ll first run upriver under power, then drift and anchor through prime holding water, working classic seams, current breaks, and river bends.
My job is primarily to position the boat so you can swing flies, cast soft plastics, or drift lures right through the strike zone and catch huge, hungry spring run striper.
For those interested, Maine has a fantastic but brief shad run - targeting these migrating fish can be a blast and a very unique experience.
Who this trip is for
Ideal for anglers who want fast-paced, rod-bending action and lots of shots at huge striper and non-stop action on shad, whether it’s your first time on a river boat or your hundredth we can show you the ropes and get you onto fish.
