My name is Brandon Bichrest, I was born and raised in Maine and have a love and appreciation to all things fishing, especially fly fishing. I have been fishing since I was a young child. I now have two young boys of my own that have been fishing with me since before they could crawl.
I enjoy fishing for any species, and any location, In my spare time you will find me fishing, I really enjoy traveling and fishing new locations and targeting new species, currently its early 2026 I have caught 68 fish species from Maine, NH, New York, Montana, Texas, South Carolina, Florida and Labrador. When I travel to a new area I will often hire a guide for at least one of the days, I have hired a guide on 30+ days so I understand guiding from clients side as well as the guide’s side.
My passion though truly lies in helping and watching others catch fish and the excitement that comes from that. I got my Fishing Guide license in 2015 now in 2026 I have guided over 1,000 fishing trips, I guide fly fishing or spin fishing trips. I worked for fishing lodges and Fly shops In Northern Maine for several years to start, Now I am Guiding Independently on my local rivers that I have been fishing since I was kid.
I have been taking my kids fishing with me since they were very young, so don’t be afraid to book a trip with your your child or anyone who has no idea how to fish.
